2. I phrase the post in an American centric way specifically and here is why. The most powerful country in the world has this group of people who have massive sway with the Republican party and as such the Republican party has to do things they like. Basically physical circumcision is just a sign in the flesh that you intend to keep the covenant made with God by the jews.
But if you do not keep the covenant and do not follow the laws set out by God in the Old Testament, then your circumcision is uncircumcision and counts for nothing.
However if you follow the laws despite not being circumcised in the flesh, then you are still circumcised in the Spirit.
Although this is not required for salvation by Christians, only faith in Christ Jesus will save you.
