My gf recently moved in with me and she has two "besties" she's been friends with since childhood that come over sometimes. She usually only hangs out with one of them tho and they always talk shit about the third friend.

Today, my gf was bummed out because she wanted to hang out in the nice weather but both of her friends had vague excuses as to why they couldn't hang out. Naturally, I told her that they are probably hanging out, talking shit about her so they don't want her to come. She didn't understand anything. She was completely unaware that she always does that to the others. Is this normal for women? Also, why are women unaware of their own behaviour?

I always stress this out. Girls don't have any notion of loyalty and honor. They will shit-talk each other, trash each other if the other stumbles. It's all about shaming and keeping a standard. If one girl in the group behaves a bit differently, it provides a fuel to all the shit-talk.
Btw this is why no country, or even a small organization, can be purely run by women. They'll just bite each other and eventually destroy the team.
