where i'm uncertain of Christ and Christianity is the sidelining of the heroic and the strong in favour of the weak and humble. there may be virtue in humility and poverty but to place it above heroism and glory does strike one as inversion of something natural and healthy, as pagan critics of Christianity say, it's an inversion of the aryan spirituality.
It's just not an accurate representation of the Christian heritage. They fought and died for their beliefs, raised armies to retake the old roman domain from desert primitives, erected the monuments of western architecture like Notre Dame, overcame mother nature to create stable, enduring engines of surplus wealth that were the springboard of civilization, and so on. Though there is some militaristic heroism in here, it isn't even the greatest of the heroic feats which speaks to the almost incomprehensible impressiveness of the heritage.
No Christian wants you to live in poverty and tithe 50 % of your wealth. Early Christians were very heroic and strong in the face of persecution. Christians form a congregation where people look after each other and there's unity. That's why Jews hate Christianity; it creates unity and community, and true Christians also call out the Jews for what they are (usurers and subverters of morals).

i agree, but what of the Christian spirit itself? where in there is the advocacy of a warrior caste who engages in mortal combat purely for its own sake in pursuit of spiritual overcoming? it isn't there there, and you can only argue that it ought not to be, which don't currently agree with. the more I read of what Christ said and did the more I respect him, but I see no room for Ernst Junger or Achilles within Christianity and so i find it difficult to accept it as the "one" spiritual system, as characters such as that cannot be excluded as what they represented was something transcendent and true, even though it was not Christian and may even be said to have been anti-Christian.
