Suburban Detroit here. I'm about 20 miles from the city, but that's the nice part. My area is 90% white and has 80k people. No murders since like...2001. Great schools, tons of nice parks and lots of jobs if you're in anything engineering or medical. Keep in mind Michigan is kind of a dump compared to other states, yet this area is excellent. It's basically the case in almost any state that there are very nice suburbs where white people can live in peace for a decent price. It can't last forever, though, as the (white) middle-class in America is shrinking every single day.
