The Terror is one of the best works of the last 10 years. It's simply amazing. I've watched it 4 times since it came out.

With the way things went, it might feel somewhat cowardly or pozzed in retrospect, but it's 10/10 comedy. Extras, too, almost to the same extent.

The Terror trust me. And if you download it make sure you get the subtitles for the foreign language parts. All men, traditional European heirachical structures, faustian spirit, exploration and brotherhood, all white cast, the bad guy is a fag. I cant believe they were even allowed to make it. All based off true events with a supernatural element thrown in. Cant reccomend it enough. It's like master and commander but 10 hours long.

I watched the american one because I can't stand Ricky Gervais. But for british shows I loved The IT Crowd.

Season 1 is a littler slower, but it really is important for character and story line development.
