We live in a republic. We have states. States have power. We have limited federal government (in theory).

In order to protect state rights we have a two tier election for our highest office. In essence, the american people doesn't vote for president, the States do.

Electors vote for who they want their State to vote for. The State then assigns its electoral votes, which are assigned by State population with some adjustment, to that candidate.

So in a given state winning with 100% of the vote and winning it with 48% is exactly the same.

This was done specifically so that every state remained relevant in the union and in politics. And it works: Presidents have to campaign all over the USA and have to care about the issues of more than just the major population centers if they want to win.

And California and New York should be wise, because disenfranchising the states that provide your food and water would be a disaster, should liberals dismantle the electoral college.

The areas that grow your grain, build your cars, hold your fresh water, house your military, cannot be silenced to return power to the globalist jew cabal in our nation.
