Not sure why Dems are pushing so hard for impeachment. There's a 0.0000% chance they get 2/3rds conviction in the Senate, and an acquittal there will just make Trump 2020 more likely.

Why the push for impeachment?
The Mueller investigation is really run by a dozen Hillary Democrats. Hillary is bitter and spiteful. How dare a New York outsider steal the coronation from the anointed one. She had all the winning cards—money, media, corporations, agencies and tech firms. (Of course, SHE was the one to club things but no one would dare tell her).

if they don't (if they don't keep up the farce and prevent people from thinking critically about everything that just happened), then people may start to wonder why the FBI never bothered to examine the DNC servers themselves. They might ask, if indeed a foreign nation had "hacked" into a US national party's servers, why neither the NSA, CIA, Dept. of HS, nor the FBI bothered to look into the matter for themselves and instead chose to rely on a third party's redacted report on the matter.

Its like the whole of the DNC forgot we all had moms and teachers. We know what shame is and we are very good at compartmentalizing it when necessary. It was never the shame that made people sway to them anyway. It was the fear reciprocation and job/$ losses.

It's really simple. They know Trump is a shoe in to win reelection in 2020. The economy is working for him. The demographics in the swing states are working for him. They have no other plan to even slow him down. They have to keep beating the drum for impeachment to undermine his legitimacy and energize their base, but they can't actually push it forward. It's basically a giant political tease which will eventually blow up in their faces.
