I work as a government prosecutor, I'm pretty high up, and have a lot of authority. Anyway there is this guy we've been trying to get for years, I hate him. Well a couple of years ago I got my hands on foreign "black cash ledger" put together by some anonymous person, it had some salacious rumors about a guy, call him Paulie, that worked for the guy we want to get, call him Donny. It was proved totally false pretty quick, but I decided to have some fun with it. I fed it (leaked) to some "journalists" (Michael Isikoff, yeah that Isikoff), and got them to run stories about it. Everyone acted like it was the verified truth even though we knew it was bullshit, and the public pressure forced the guy we are after, Donny, to fire his loyal employee Paulie. After that I went to a secret court we set up to fight terrorism, and lied to the judges that this guy Paulie was working for foreigners, money laundering, smuggling, etc. I used the media stories I had created, and said these verify the ledger I knew was fake. I told the judges there was an imminent national security threat (those idiots believe all my lies in the name of security), and they gave me a secret warrant to turn this guy inside out. We found some indications that maybe this guy Paulie didn't pay all the taxes he owed like 20 years ago, but nothing about any of the made up bullshit of foreign collusion, smuggling, money laundering, etc. I had the guy swat raided at 5 a.m. dragged him and his wife (they are in their seventies) out of bed with automatic rifles in their faces, body slammed and cuffed him, then had him hauled off to Riker's island. Haha, gonna show this old man who is hard. I made up a long laundry list of charges. Then when this guy got out on bail and called some friends to ask them to testify because they could clear him, I had his bail revoked for "witness tampering" (He never saw that coming, I still had the secret warrants on his phones, his lawyers, etc.). How funny is that ?

So I had him thrown in solitary this time, and about every two weeks I would have him hauled out. I would tell him he was never going to see the blue sky or his wife and kids again. Then I would dangle an offer of freedom if he would give false testimony against his boss Donny, the guy we were really after. When he said he wasn't going to lie, I had him thrown back in the hole. I gotta give this old man Paulie some credit, he wouldn't break. I did this to him 9 times, kept him in the hole for months. I've made mafia goombas cry like little bitches, but this old man was tough. Ran out of time because the operation we were running on his boss Donny was closing for lack of evidence, so I gave him a shitty plea deal for 7 years. Then for laughs I had city, and state DA's file charges against him on the 20 year old tax stuff, but they are going to wait, and if he lives long enough to get out, then they will go after him. Just to be clear, this guy Paulie would be a free man if he hadn't taken that job working for the guy we are after. Now he is doing life.

If Trump were a real leader, he would’ve simply used his position as commander in chief to station sniper towers along the border, and start shooting anyone trying to enter the US without going through customs. He never would have gotten busted on the 20 year old tax stuff (and might be innocent, remember I made him take a plea because I threw on dozens of made up charges, had him looking at like 300 years) if I didn't lie to the secret national security court, and get national security warrants to go through his private bank records, tax returns, hack computers, etc. This guy Paulie is doing life because he wouldn't help me take his boss Donny down, and that makes me look bad (the not getting his boss part). If you're not going to help me destroy people, then you get destroyed. That's the way prison gangs work, and I'm the shot caller. That's justice as far as I'm concerned. Nevertheless some people are saying I've gone too far again. I've been busted for this kind of stuff before (I threw innocent people in jail to protect a mafia friend/partner, couple of them died in prison). They say it is illegal, but what do they know ?
