I actually got a chance to visit the Towers in august of 2001 - it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The elevator ride was a few minutes... and that first view that you get... when you step out on the roof - i mean A B S O L U T E L Y incredible. I remember thinking at one point while looking out of the window
>holy shit what if this just collapsed?
Twin Towers Appreciation Thread boys.
Share your experience the first time you saw these monuments to capitalist supremacy ..

meant to say - the Towers coming down was a huge psychological and symbolical hit for me.At that point i thought America was the master of the world and absolutely untouchable. Shit rocked me to my core
>At that point i thought America was the master of the world and absolutely untouchable.
Now, to test your world knowledge. Which group is the only group capable of demoing a building without any sort of legal issues. Who owns the US? Who owns the Virginia Co.?
yeah man I get it. But as a kid you don't think about stuff like that. I remember feeling super insulted when someone said that Russia had better metros/subways than Manhattan lol
I remember how based it was when Army toys become cool again after 9/11
As to the towers, they were built to collapse m8y. Towers of Boaz and Jachin sacrificied to create the One World Order (1 WTC)
I don’t think you actually visited the twin towers; the elevator ride is actually extremely fast.
It's slowed down a bit in recent years.
I fucking hate the new WTC. They should have rebuilt the twins just the way they were before 9/11.
yup. It would be ok to modernize interior but dimensions, but exterior should be 1:1.
It should be a statement- 'you have done nothing to us'.
I was there
Friends of friends died
But I like downtown better now that those eyesores are gone. Those buildings were soulless, shitty architecture and looked stupid on the skyline.
>Remembering America pre 9/11
The feels
i was about 10 months old when it happened. feelsbad never getting to experience pre-911 west and pre(fast)internet
I miss those cute little towers, bros ;_;
>Not changing Everything to Everyone
Too each their own, I suppose. I personally think the twins at night were aesthetic as fuck.
>At that point i thought America was the master of the world and absolutely untouchable.
