Well lets take this back a decade: what gives straight couples the unique right to marriage but not homosexual couples. You might say a decade ago they have the same rights to marry any member of the opposite sex as straight couples, but these particular rights were formed for heterosexual couples to begin with and not includes the rights the homosexual is entitle in a fair system. Take this argument ahead in time and apply to other rights.

Marriage in it's traditional way is a Christian concept. Gays get sent to hell. If the wanna "marry" they should be let no where near a Christian building or have to burden Christians with their presence.

A marriage should only be officially recognized between a man and a woman. If gays want to have their own ceremony and call it whatever I don't see why not but they should receive no benefits or recognition from the state.
