Most critical vaccines work for the majority of people, but the flu shot is a joke.

People say vaccines cause autism, but it's not proven at this point. You could choose any disease or disorder which has mysteriously changed or grown in popularity and say the same thing, mostly because a majority of the population is exposed to these shots. And how many of us have practical understanding and experience with the scientific processes behind it?

If you vaccinate your kids, then you don't have to worry quite as much about the diseases coming in from 3rd world countries today. Anti-vaxxers will suffer due to these invaders destroying our herd immunity. The only reason their kids don't have polio is because they just haven't been exposed yet.

The case was one of those which was going to be representative for America's vaccine court - but the case was so clearly in favor of the plaintiffs, with the doctors from Johns Hopkins testifying her vaccinations did indeed cause her brain damage, that the USG paid the Polings millions to settle out of court so the case couldn't be used to lend credence to other vaccine cases.
