In the US I would cooperate with the police, as well as in Finland.
In Sweden they are under staffed and dying in bureaucracy while needing to report good numbers. This means they will take shortcuts.
If they stop you for a broken tail light they will also take alcohol test and a bunch of other things to make as many potential cases as possible against you. So in a traffic stop they can usually get 3/3 solved crimes in 15 minutes. And that is what the leadership wants.
