Except what you are describing is what is happening in our current societies. All land belongs to the state, even private land, they can reclaim it if they deem it necessary. They'll try to buy back the land (at the lowest price possible of course), and if that doesn't work, they'll get you out, by force if necesary, using armed men that could kill you and your family if you dare to resist. I enjoy the thought of a world with infinite personal freedoms, but the problem I can't seem to get around is that you will ultimately be subjected to the force of a group with more money and people than yours. Some people have no desire for "universally preferable treatment" as another user moronically supposed.
In a world without law, let's suppose a biker gang rolls into a town and because of their superior force, begins to do whatever they want.
