Fusion power is the last hope for mankind. It solves climate change, poverty and space travel all in one thing. Why is only Germany seriously engaged in fusion power with the Wendelstein 7-x at Greifswald?

>Why is only Germany seriously engaged in fusion power with the Wendelstein 7-x at Greifswald?
because germany has no oil or gas, they're desperate autists trying to come up with some fantasy power device
Germs are only good in stealing shit.
But the Wendelstein 7-x works. It’s also a beauty.
it literally doesnt work, its pointless
Nigga.
iter.org
Yeah they should pay war reparations first. Then get replaced.
why germans were ever allowed to exist after ww2 i have no idea
This Wendelfuck is such a VW cheating scandal copy.
Never trust a german, it's probably another of your holocaust machines.
It works, we have working plasma and continuously. We’ll hit super fusion by 2021.
ITER is just a government subsidy for corporations. It’s not adding anything to real fusion power development.
>W7-X
>Serious engagement in developing fusion power
Wrong - the fusion community's obsession with 'bigger scale, bigger budget' on fusion projects like W7-X and ITER is going to be it's undoing. W7-X is a testbed, nothing more. It's designers never intended for it to be a model for viable, sustainable reactor designs, it's only meant to answer more questions and test more ad hoc solutions to all of the problems hindering fusion. Same with ITER. The problem with this approach is that inevitably the next thing the fusion community asks for after both W7-X and ITER have outlived their usefulness is more funding for a more expensive, more powerful platform to take the next step on, and sooner (rather than later) they're going to hit a wall where the people funding them finally say no. At which point they're up shit creek without a paddle because even if it works perfectly nobody's going to be willing or able to spend $20-30 billion on a plant with a capacity of a few hundred MW.
The smart thing to do now (hell, the smart thing to have done 10-15 years ago) would be to go back to the drawing board, focus on demonstrating that the ideas and solutions developed over the last 50 years of experimental work on fusion can be made to work on a smaller scale, then ramp things up from that new starting point.
>We’ll hit super fusion by 2021.
>Marshall Plan
I should ask You. There should biggest forest in the world in place of germs.
japan realised functioning cold fusion in 2010, was suppressed. is powering underground facilities in us and probably antarctica, oligarchy's bolthole for incoming on-schedule micronova/magnetic pole reversal catastrophe.

the only thing in the world even resembling an operational function reactor is literally in france
They should just compact and burn all the trash they import for energy. Africa seems to be producing a surplus of it worldwide.
Because if you try to develop something that can fuck with petrodollar, CIAniggers and alike will make you disappear. Another reason to wish for amerimongrel genocide.
it's going to be fun when it works and we stop relying on other countries for energy
Because it's highly unlikely that humans can ever build an artificial star, contain it, and draw power from it.
How the fuck do people build shit like this? I don't mean the computer models, I mean actually building it.
>(((stein)))
No, it ain’t. It is in England at JET. The next best thing is the Wendelstein 7-x. ITER in France is nothing but a big construction site.
Precision machining. We can do zet in ze Germany.
carefully
>Why is only Germany seriously engaged in fusion power

Yeah, they said they gave up on this shit.
is that what that article says?
because my reading says you need to go back to english class
fool.com
>not much progress
That phrase does not mean "we gave up".
French ITER project makes your german effort look like a high school project
they will be the only ones smart enough to figure it out. That's why. Muh physics an sheeit.
yeah. just like when all those pure Aryan scientists got the nuclear bomb first by not fucking up their math and deciding that they needed 1000x as much fissile fuel as it actually required
You're right but JET works, we recreated the conditions of the sun on Earth in the 1990s
Just a few more years till net positive energy out of the process
Gr8 b8 m8
Tell me, why does Germany hate nuclear energy?
Either you are morons or gambling everything on Fusion becoming technically viable in less than 50 years, which is extremely unlikely.
ITER is our best chance for now, if it works, it is good news for Wendelstein too, but considering it is a different type of reactor, there are still many hurdles before it can reach the stage of testing for technical viability.
The ITER thing is a scam for taxpayer money, like CERN or the Eurotunnel.
aren't guys at tokamak at it as well?
heil wendelstein!
Ww2 was you you fucking idiot
SUPERFUSION BY 2021
Most of the Know-how and Money for ITER comes from Germany you fucking imbecile
Fuck off Ivan. You lost already.
>Why is only Germany seriously engaged in fusion power with the Wendelstein 7-x at Greifswald?
Germans aren't the only ones building these reactors, yours are just the next one to be completed
