For Intermarium to work properly you need the mountain ranges, and the larger nations in east europe and that means poland, romania and ukraine.

For Intermarrium to work it needs US support through NATO and becoming the more reliable and more important part of US foreign policy compared to the western part of Europe, who are rather anti US and NATO as of late.

With a US guarantor the Intermarrium can work , especially if they can get some nukes stationed there by the US, as it would be a potential three front land base for the US, and thus it would need to have the ability to counter-nuke to force people into hybrid warfare. And then its a question of who can afford the long grind of territorial slice play in case of war, with russia having a smaller economy than the combined intermarium, the west in decline and the turks unlikely to be able to mass forces in Constantionple without being spotted and rushed.

It is not impossible and as long as it is not treated as a case in a vacuum where US and China wont try to stick their fingers one way or another it can work.
