Yeah of course if you are producing more food and product you are going to get the majority of the aid. Fucking duh? Like that is the whole point.
Grayson Baker
Fuck that I have a 1 acre farm and I demand millions of dollars
Easton Reyes
Also farm aid is just whatever. What we should have is more deregulation for small suburban and urban farmers. I'm not talking about safety deregulation, but there are too many places where you can be sitting on like an acre of land you just aren't allowed by the government to grow food and sell it. You can grow a lot of food on an acre of land and make a lot of damn money on it.
Stuff like that is a travesty of government. Then again, you get socialists who complain about how bad things are, and things are bad cuz you've got government fucking everyone over, and then they say "we should give MORE power to the government in order to fix these probelms and hope that this time they just decide to do the right thing" and obv that never happens. Gov never "does the right thing"
Lucas Bailey
>buy land
>declare it farmland
>let it lay fallow
>make huge amounts of money

Wtf you talking about? That socialist fuck just handed out another $40 million in subsidies fucknut.
Evan Butler
Yeah IK right? Thing is also if you have a 1 acre farm you likely have extraordinarily low costs. You're likely just farming in your backyard. You're likely not sitting on a shit ton of farmable land that you could otherwise profit by selling to real estate developers or turning into a god damn strip mall.
So yeah, you're trying to get that cash to farmers who have big land so that they stay in the industry.
This is the way it really is, but fucking socialists and democrats, you know, they see one little headline and take the "manufactured outrage" bait and start screeching like fucking idiots, calling you "corrupt", calling you "stupid".
You know, it's all projection and the dunning kruger effect. Stupid people always believe they are smarter than everyone else and sophists always think everyone is lying.
Isaiah Allen
it doesn't.

You need to apply to let it go to CRP, then sign a lease if it does. Only works for about 100 acres, and the payout is not the best. Plus if you're on a 15 year lease to CRP, and crop prices skyrocket, you can't back out.

>By the time that the case reached the high court, eight out of the nine justices had been appointed by President Franklin Roosevelt, the architect of the New Deal legislation. In addition, the case was heard during wartime, shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor made the United States enter the Second World War.[6][7] The decision supported the President by holding that the Constitution allowed the federal government to regulate economic activity that was only indirectly related to interstate commerce.
