Well put, I watch him because I like to get my news from different sauces. But sometimes (most of the time lately) his mannerisms are just painful to watch. I will continue watching him just because I don;t want to lock myself into an ideological bubble where I just listen to people I agree with for the most part.

Exactly. I enjoy his show and will admit to being a long time subscriber. Just because I enjoy his show doesn't mean I only watch his show. Hell, I disagree with just about everything Trevor Noah says, but the dude is fucking hilarious and usually lands his comedic take on news in the "not technically wrong, but absolutely not right" area. No modern news is going to give you pure factual information that isn't at least somewhat pandering to their demographic, especially in this era. When it comes down to it, Phillip DeFranco can piss me off too even though I like his PRODUCT. I just happen to have learned that if I find entertainment in a news show while also getting some typically decent information, it's worth the occasional cringe and daily hair product placements.

It's also super easy to google a story he discusses to fact check on your own. I have done it before, found out he was wrong, and been very pleased to see him make corrections on the following show.
