those poor b1 battle bros were the real victims. the few that managed to break the control of the federation usually by accident or battle damage severing the obedience chips would end up trying to save clone trooper lives or escape the battlefield to work on farms and shit just helping out. they didnt even want war but were forced into it through cyber slavery.

palpatine manipulated the trade federation and put those space jew neimoidian species into power in the first place. the confederation was lawful and recognized by the independent laws of their own home planets which didnt want to succumb to the rule of the core worlds. it was basically brexit.

meanwhile the clone army was unethical. they were human beings with shortened lifespans due to the quick grow cloning process that only lived a few years and were treated as pawns. far less ethical then the confederacys intended army of what was supposed to be unfeeling machines.

if the clone army didnt exist and palpatine hadnt been meddling. the trade federation would have had hardly any power in the confederacy. the confederacy already had a lot of sympathy from core world civilians. the plan was to invade and then negotiate for better deals and independence, the goal was never to conquer the core worlds.

for using a clone army of nine year olds to enforce taxation without representation on the confederacy. they only thought they were the good guys because palpatine ordered dooku to put grevious in charge knowing grevious would commit war crimes that could be used in anti confederacy proopaganda. the confederacy was kept from knowing what was going on and from the confederacy's perspective they lost a war they should have won against an unjest enemy that sought to dominate and control their independent governments through unfair trade deals. the jedi were the useful idiots that enabled the whole thing because they wanted to play hero but were too naive to realize they were being used.

the confederacy only wanted to force the core worlds to the negotiating table to make better trade deals and stop taxing them unfairly. and they would have won and the galaxy would have been at peace. most core world civilians actually had sympathy for the confederacy and would have supported better trade deals. without palpatines clone army it would have been a short war leading into peace talks and greater independence for the outer systems.
