There are women who do the same. It's a lack of interest in the industries that these people claim to be "toxic" that are just misunderstood or not in the same realm of interest and by giving it a scary name it's easier to make money off it

Last autistic response - the existence of Gender Studies as a recently booming academic field is evidence that not only is Toxic Masculinity a misnomer and attempt to frame all men in any field as evil, it's a literal industry to capitalize off the emotions of the youth and enslave them in debt. The core premise of these courses do not focus on real biologically/scientifically accepted models or anthropology to any legitimate degree; instead these snake oil salesmen are making up new terms all over the place in an attempt to make their work seem valid. Gender spectrum is an example of this, real scientists laugh at this shit particularly in diagnostic laboratory tesfungi because a machine that's analyzing DNA doesnt care if you want to pretend you're a girl tomorrow but half of a man today but born a man, the machine is going to use real actual metrics to give you a very reliable result. Yes but it played out generationally. When Hugh Hefner, Picasso, Frank Sinatra, John Cheever, and pseudo 1950's scientists claimed men needed to spread their seed but women had no sexuality beyond their looks- well that generation of women asked no questions and believed it.
