Objectivism doesn't treat people as commodities, but as traders. The very philosophy is heavily against any sort of parasitic behavior of savagery through theft.
As well the term "traditional" is a non-argument for it doesn't say anything about the value in question, other than it has persisted through out time. Falsities can meet such a standard as well. Of this isn't to say the such traditions are bad, just that being traditional isn't a proper standard for objectivity.
