No. Atheism does not assert that God does not exist. It just means you do not believe one does exist. I do not subscribe to PC gamer, that does not mean I know it doesn't exists. Just like in logic and debate, the person that says something is a way has full burden to prove that it is that way. You must prove God is there. A group of isolated people that have no concept of a God are atheist and do not assert it, because they cannot and do not need to.
