It’s one su. 500 point dip. The absolute state of retards and our media. It’s literally nothing. Notice how they say worst day “this year”. We have had several of these days over the last few years yet we are at record highs.

Trump will do something to change the story and the markets will be confident again. It’s not rocket science. The markets are fueled by emotion, just like leftists.

It means you'll get to hear people in the media freak out over a non-event just because they can whine about Drumpf.

>Only hurts China
>What are exports
>What are Chinese bonds

(((consumer confidence)))

Show the "all time" and shit gets scary

Fuck the 1 yr

wow... you know none of that would matter if currency was backed by gold...

>lowest close since June
>8 week low
>frozen right now, this DJIA value would be 4th all time high

Yep it's the apocalypse

So it's only bad for the boomers?

>muh exports
China can't rely on slave labor anymore and they don't want to, either. China has been hemorrhaging dollars trying to keep the Yuan strong because they want to be a consumer market in the future. Problem is eventually they won't be able to protect the Yuan and it will devalue much further than they intend. That's why Chinese people with wealth will do whatever they can to get past the recent CCP regulations to get their money outside of the country. This devalue is a short-term answer that will have long-term repercussions. It's not something they want to be doing. Also they're not really winning out because they have to do this to cover the extra costs from tariffs. They're sacrificing to break even.

>haha jk now this currency is worth 35$ an ounce, not 25$
t. FDR

Get ready, The US Treasury just labeled Chinah as a currency manipulator. This trade/currency war is getting fucking real. Perhaps Pike's letter to Mazzini wasn't bullshit after all. The final social cataclysm is being setup. Global slowdown , debt saturation, combined with escalating tensions between the US, China the worlds largest economies and the world. This shit is about to pop off.

It's relevant if you're in the 1%. Fucking over your home turf in favor of the Great Buglands is the only way to play your favorite casino game once you've become desensitized to tits, fame, money, and power.

They are so desperate for bad Trump spam this is the best they can come up with.. It's quite pathetic really.
Which if you haven't noticed it's a lot less of "orange man bad" spam as of late than it is more "I'm mocking you for your political opinions"

Remember when shills used to actually try to change your mind instead of using these reddit tier tactics?
They aren't sending their best.

There are no winners in this, just varying degrees of losers. Without the tradewar in the picture you know that post 2008, the system has been kept alive with debt that cannot possibly be paid off. IMO, this is all reactionary to the inevitable conclusion of the Western central banking fiat system which now has some 14 trillion in negative yielding debt globally. We're at the endgame either way, China/trade war is just a convenient excuse.

Our country has gone to levels of retardation unseen before. I don’t have confidence in our future.

My dad tells me that everything is in the stock market

I agree, which is why I think all of the people freaking out about the trade war are wasting their time. It is an aggravating factor to something larger at play. However I don't think it's hopeless to start making moves now, and China really has been fucking over the US for a while now. I think Trump's hope is that something breaks in China or Europe first so he can turn and blame them while also blaming the Fed. We need a complete restructure of monetary and trade policy, there isn't going to be a comfortable way to fix that in the short term. All things considered I think the US is in a good spot still relative to the rest of the world. We have plenty of resources and a large enough population to ensure we can produce at high levels. There is also tech we already possess as well as a navy that can protect whatever trade we or others need.

China's devaluation will hurt the whole world, not only U.S, but I don't know other country like EU has the ball to respone? they are even fear Iran so I don't expect EU do anything to hurt China.
U.S on other side, will go nuclear world.

I lost ~$15k today
>hasn't even beaten inflation over the last year
Literal boomers have pensions, not 401(k)s. About half of American workers participate in a 401(k) though.
>devalue currency
>sell products for even cheaper (especially internationally)
>our products become less competitive overseas
>kill our industries even further
It doesn't hurt them at all really, because they don't really care about their people

Attached: file.png (1035x366, 67K)

you stupid Tiramisu coored nigger they are devaluing their currency to remain competitive even with the tariffs, this entirely only hurts China in the short so they can maintain marketshare

>but I don't know other country like EU has the ball to respone?
Eu is going to do what they planned on doing anyway: more QE and even further negative interest rates. It's the only card they have which is pretty pathetic. I think the Eurozone will be the first major economic zone to go down. They're simply out of weapons and their tentpole in Germany is starting to wobble.

Go go go, keep dropping fuck this country.

For me the jury is still out, at face value it looks like Trump is trying to keep his campaign promises. On the other hand, the zionist banking elitist fuckers who would sell their mom for a buck has his ears, and they are not on our side.

If they devalue their currency, it makes their goods cheaper in non-US countries as well. Making American goods (like food) even less competitive.

Even with QE and negative interest rates, economic growth in the EU is slowing and contracting. We're at the end of this shit show. I guess WW3 is being put on the table.

Well it doesnt matter if the gold was backed by gold because it isnt.

SO MUCH WINNING

You're all retarded. The demand for dollars is implied by the value of the stock market. Right now the US dollar is comically overprinted, and overpriced assets have been used as a heatsink for inflationary pressure. If the stock market collapses the US dollar loses all it's value.

100% is too far.
There is some two-way connection between broader economic performance and stock market performance, though the stock market is not a good metric for economic performance on it's own.

>Trump is trying to keep his campaign promises
It's easy to offer words, but once you get in the game you have to try and nagivate a lot of bullshit. The President isn't as powerful as people like to imagine. I don't think Trump is compromised and I think he'd love to deliver something great, but he's got to hang on until that opportunity arises. Trump wants glory and glory comes from people. We're talking about a man that builds golden towers and slaps his name on it. He'd probably sacrifice his family and wealth if it meant he could achieve something that will define the next era of the world economically and culturally. It's the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Either way he's at least doing a good job of fucking up the already weak ties that hold this all together. It's something that must be done to move on and rebuild.

nah, boomers get guaranteed defined pensions, its bad for gen-x and millennials

It has nothing to do with "economic performance" as it has to do with faith in the dollar and the economy. The stock market collapsing will be the first sign that the plug is being pulled on the US dollar scam.

>boomers get guaranteed defined pensions
They're going to be in for a shock

Attached: 1538460948287.gif (297x212, 473K)

So, based Trump is stoping the rise of the dystopian government of China AND helping allied countries get cheaper products?

I fail to see any downsides. Hopefully the EU will follow suit and distance itself from China.

>What are pensions

Figment of your imagination

My prediction is that it's real bad for millennials.
We're fuuuuuuucked if the market crashes.
Boomers will bail out their own retirements on our dime, but our retirement savings up to this point will basically be wiped out if it's bad enough.
Then they'll all herpaderp off to Costa Rica or something, which will usher in an age of prosperity there, leaving us with the bill and the work of cleaning up the mess.

Wouldnt the dollar only lose it's value the fed did hyperquantitative-extreme QE to save the stock market during the crash? I thought the dollar would keep the same value even during a 60% drop in DJIA/s&p

China devaluing their own currency is one of the unfair things the chink regime does all the time. It's a cheatcode the chinks learned from mao's jewish pals and they're not afraid of using it to win the civ game thru global economic conquest.

Everyone in china holding yuan just lost massive amounts of money. Expect more chinese to want to want to hold onto something tangible outside of china, meaning more chinks buying up real estate. It's basically all good desu.

>Market index that only includes major corporations hit an all-time low
There goes my nofap streak.

I believe the EU setup INSTEX as a way to maintain trade channels with Iran despite our threats. So, there is something deeper to me atleast, at play here. We're extricating ourselves from the OWO and the rest of the world are re-shuffling their alliances. Either that's a good thing, or a bad thing. That's the key to understanding if Trump is on our side..or their side. That's what is bothering me. Remember, Wilbur Ross did bail his ass out on behalf of Rothchild's Inc.

Trump To Unleash Hell On Europe: EU Announces Channel To Circumvent SWIFT And Iran Sanctions Is Now Operational

zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-28/trump-unleash-hell-europe-after-eu-says-spv-circumvent-swift-and-iran-sanctions-now

notice how theres no shills in this thread because trannies dont understand economics

>Expect more chinese to want to want to hold onto something tangible outside of china, meaning more chinks buying up real estate
Only the top tier wealthy in China have the connections to get a considerable amount offshore now. CCP has been cracking down on capital flight since they did that last devalue in 2015.

>That's the key to understanding if Trump is on our side..or their side. That's what is bothering me. Remember, Wilbur Ross did bail his ass out on behalf of Rothchild's Inc.
Trump is in this for himself. Like I said: glory comes from people. Trump wants to be a major historical figure and the old paradigm is on its way out with or without him. There's only one choice he can make.

Kino as fuck

It all reads like leftbook.

Daily reminder top Obama numbers were 18k.

>our economy is based on Chinese currency
You played yourself.

So you're saying we should crash the stock market?

>understanding if Trump is on our side..or their side
I somewhat agree with you comment, but geopolitics are way more complicated than our side vs their side. There are a plethora of groups, both inter and intra national, each with their on interests, ideologies, and goals. That said, I think the vast majority would agree than China's principles are undesireable outside of China.

Bitcoin

>Inb4 replies to this post

the stock market used to be a gauge of how well firms were doing/expected to be doing

now, it means nothing as the financial sector has way too much cash on its hands and is playing its own game

It'll crash on its own soon enough.

It's mostly buy backs, pension funds desperate for yield due to the low interest rates of the last decade, and boomers unaware their passive investments into ETFs is a fool's game.

just drop some more ROD OF GOD on those insects

WTF?!! WE'RE HAVING A MOMENTARY ECONOMIC STUMBLE IN ORDER TO FREE OURSELVES FROM HOSTILE FOREIGN MARKET MANIPULATION?!!

FUCK THE FUTURE, I'M NOT GONNA HAVE KIDS ANYWAY!!! I WANT MY CHEAP PLASTIC STAR WARS MERCH, AND I WANT IT NOW, DAMMIT!!!
