Many are too invested to admit that they got played. He could take a shit in his hand and throw it at them and they'd gobble it up and say that it was the best tasting chocolate they'd ever eaten in their entire lives. They'll vote for him simply because they believe that the alternative of letting a Democrat win would be even worse.
The fact that Trump himself is a Democrat seems to elude them.
I'm still not even convinced that voting even matters. I believe our political rulers are selected not elected.
