I am a man. I have 3 boys and we're pregnant with our 4th (Hopefully a girl). My wife was an airsoft state 4H champion in her childhood.
But lost interest in High School. She wanted to spend her time doing more girly things. Now that we're married, I've improved my lot considerably, she is a house wife... she loves it. She graduated college. Teaching block. Can work anytime she wants. Would rather keep the house cleaned. Keep the kids fed. Use her teacher training on our kids.
This includes teaching her sons to shoot. Because she does know how to shoot. And has fired larger weapons. Has hunted. Has gone to the range. Not often, but enough to familiarize herself with her weapon and hownit feels.
I trust her to teach my boys the basics of shooting... but until we were already married, I didn't realize she had a weapon in her car.
My point is, most girls just... stop enjoying boy-things and focus on girl things as they mature.
Shooting is a mans thing, for the most part.
It's combat, defense, protection, and even providing.
