Name your son after yourself, your father, your grand father or one of your ancestors. If you have a modern trendy name, just go ahead and let that name die with you or get your name changed.
Naming your son after somebody that's not related to you is cuckoldry. I'm grateful for my grandparents every time I think about this -- they had a fight with my mom over what to name me. She wanted to give me a stupid fucking trendy name and they threatened to cut her out of their will if she did it so I ended up with the same name as my father which I am incredibly grateful for.
