The typical trifecta of tourist traps in Helsinki are the national zoo, Suomenlinna castle and the amusement park
For more cultural side there is the city center with it's churches, parks, gardens and architecture, bars and restaurants are obviously everywhere, a good place to go would be a place with a sauna if you are traveling with a group like Löyly which is sauna + restaurant.

Visit the national parks instead, especially in Lapland, north Karelia and southern Savonia. Also many smaller cities and towns are beautiful in the summer.
