Why are Asians so smart? Genuine question. I used to think it was just an "immigrant-working-harder-than-everyone-else" thing but when I consider myself pretty smart but felt intimidated by Japs and Chinks when I was in Asia. Is it genetic? Cultural?

Korean children literally study 15+ hours a day. They are good at exams but lack common sense and experience. They also forget almost everything they learned within a few months of graduating. Korean education is hell.

Shit like tigermoms is very real and when you have momma forcing you every day to learn something beyond what you're being taught at school, on most IQ scales, you're going to score higher.
