The state spends more than half its budget on MassHealth and like 80% of that goes directly to terminally ill boomers. Property values are completely out of sync with income, id say it’s actually the worst ratio in the entire country. Weather is shit too obviously. Having lived virtually all over the US now, trust me when I say that despite its flaws the Puritan stronghold of Massachusetts is far from one of the worst places you could live in this country

Despite that, even our middle class is far better off than most other places in the country, the weather is only shit if you hate "Too damn hot" in the summer and "Too damn cold" in the winter with spring lasting 4 weeks, and fall lasting 8 weeks (and the occasional tornado once every 20 years or so). Good thing I don't go to Logan, but go to Bradley instead in Windsor Locks, Connecticut (The best and most relaxed international airport in the country), where the slightly inferior Connecticut pays for that instead.
