Yes I’m sure they work great for many people, but brain chemistry is so complex and different for everyone and it’s not really something that can be measured or evaluated in such a way that psychiatrists or doctors can prescribe the correct meds and the corrects dosages with pinpoint accuracy. They may have needed them, but they had to try so many different meds and different dosages and combinations that it took years before they were stable.
