Stepping back and looking dispassionately at the mass shooting phenomenon of the past 20 or so years, the biggest question is simply:
"What has changed in human beings where they are compelled to murder strangers for no coherent reason, with no apparent benefit, and at great personal cost?"
>Political terrorism
>family/workplace shootings.
>black violence
They're obviously morally bad, but they have some underlying LOGIC: political action, settling personal scores, or Africans transporting their African mores.
So think about it: You have an ILLOGICAL, incoherent, series of outbursts. Now, anybody who has unfortunately witnessed a schizophrenic episode will note that schizophrenic breakdowns are very much like a mass shooter murdering a bunch of strangers:
>violent
>illogical
>incoherent
>self-destructive.
So then, the best way to describe the mass shooter phenomenon is as a COLLECTIVE SCHIZOPHRENIA.
If the USA were a person, he would be a diagnosed schizophrenic (and we've got the pills to prove it!)
So, the next question is, what has made the USA into a schizophrenic?
Contra the AltRight Big Brains, the theory that the USA's collective schizophrenia is caused by abstract cultural forces is impossible: People don't turn into schizophrenics because of economic downswings or immigration policy. It doesn't work that way. (Curiously, the same AltRight Big Brains who scoff at the economic determinism underlying libertarianism suddenly become obsessed with economic trends when explaining white birthrates, opiate addictions, and mass shootings.)
The best answer, then, is BIOLOGY. The reason young Americans are behaving like schizophrenics is because:
