The president said he has taken tough action on guns. His administration has mostly focused on expanding gun access through little-noticed regulatory moves.

It's very heart warming to see the backlash to be honest. It sucks that Trump fucked up. But the fact that his base all said "Nuh uh, nigger. Don't even play around like that" is a really great thing that we should all be proud of as Americans. It means that the Trump base isn't a bunch of rubes taken in by a cult of personality. We like Trump because he 90%+ of the time advocates for the policies that we like more than any other candidate. And when he advocates for bad policies, we won't hesitate to tell him so.
I just have to marvel at how awesome that is. Because Trump supporters REALLY like Trump and are very loyal. But at the same time they weren't going to go along with bad policy mindlessly. I just think that is really cool.
