Is it just me or are democratic ideals getting unpopular?
Is it just me or are democratic ideals getting unpopular?
Certainly to the extent that people are realizing that "democratic" institutions have been completely subverted and coopted by elite interests. I'd rather have a Caesar who liquidates these sneering university professors and bankers and journalists than continue with "democracy" for the sake of my choice of Uniparty candidate A versus Uniparty candidate B every 4 years
Democratic ideas were never popular. It's just a compromise we agreed to so we could stop killing each other.
>I'd rather have a Caesar
Caesar was a thug who subverted and coopted the republic, you're a fool for creating a benevolent dictator in your head and naming him Caesar. But you're downright retarded for believing you would ever get one, statistics prove that you're more likely to get a Mugabe/Peron/Putin
Democracy is a lie. The will of the majority is never expressed through representative legislatures, only the will of the Jewish plutocracy who wants to destroy us.
muh ebil dictator putin, lmao i want an evil dictator over this shit
The institutions of the Republic were hollowed out by the Senate and oligarchs long before Caesar knocked the tottering structure over
Most of us have lived our entire lives witnessing the rampant corruption that has infested our democracies, while we do not remember the horrors of authoritarianism.
>(((democratic)))
Anyone using this word is your enemy.
I think it may have just been a long-term ruse for the wealthy 0.1% to transfer even more wealth and power to themselves over a couple hundred years than they could have otherwise accomplished through bloody conflict. Perhaps democracy would have worked in a homogeneous society and not a global homo one controlled by kikes. Boomers may have been more ignorant than us without the internet, but I think more importantly they were just weak. The system has devolved to the point that it is clear to us how the elites simply manipulate the masses using their wealth, media, entertainment, etc. to act in their collective interests. When that fails, they simply import new automatons that will replace problematic citizens.
I said
>Caesar was a thug who subverted and coopted the republic
what you said
>The institutions of the Republic were hollowed out by the Senate and oligarchs long before Caesar knocked the tottering structure over
does not argue against my statement. The democratic institutions of the republic were in need of reform, not autocracy.
>Anyone using this word is your enemy.
what do you mean?
Degenerated democratic institutions captured by the elite are not always capable of reform
Democracy unironically creates more ethnic conflict and more separatist movements. I don't see the U.S being around in 100 years unless it transforms into an autocracy.
fpbp
>muh reform
What are you? A college student?
reinhard is a fag
That is what you wish to believe. Nothing that will come will be as country tearing that the civil rights movement, great depression or civil war. There is nothing on the horizon that even comes close to these issues.
ideals?
Democracy sounds nice-ish on paper, until you realize how stupid most people are (and hence how stupid most voters are).
Democracy is highly overrated. Look around you. Look at your average fellow citizen, then tell me whether they should have just as much say in the future of your nation as anyone.
Minorities support secession more than whites do here. Have you been to New England? Cascadia? California? Etc. They don't wave U.S flags anymore. You act like you live in a bubble.
Assume that I am. Would you mock me for educating myself? But we're getting way off-topic. I don't care what Jow Forums thinks, when I said
>Is it just me or are democratic ideals getting unpopular?
I meant amongst normies.
It's not just you. Democracy was a mistake. Too many stupid people clamoring for gibs.
probably because it's failed and only gained traction because of WW2. Not too mention that idiots can vote and it can easily be swayed and the whole nation can suffer. If Whites were running it did it with utilitarianism in mind while looking after Whites then go for it. I don't vote anyway.
why am i getting 10 yr old onion videos in my jewtube feed. what have they done to their AI
I sort of like democracy.
I think it would be better if there wasn't money in politics and people were engaged in their communities.
But according to the Supreme Court that's incorrect.
The Supreme Court is out of touch with America. It must be revamped.
democracy has failed. we voted for a wall, decreased immigration, mass deportation, and less gun control. we received no wall, increased immigration, scarce deportation, and increased gun control.
voting doesn't work.
also something to consider is that the greeks tried many different forms of democracy, and abandoned it. and this was even without fucked up shit like women voting. the main fault they found with democracy was its corruptibility, that it is essentially a contest of popularity and that popularity is most easily achieved with wealth. this results in oligarchs supporting people into positions of popularity with their wealth in exchange for political favors and representation. sound familiar?
socrates also has some pretty good criticisms of democracy according to plato, you should look them up.
>Look at your average fellow citizen, then tell me whether they should have just as much say in the future of your nation as anyone.
without a doubt
Normies in general don't like democratic ideals. There's been polls and studies that have said so. The only group that still likes democracy are the boomers.
>Assume that I am. Would you mock me for educating myself
Yes. I do mock. College students live in a bubble and have no clue about reality. The enlightenment has lead us on a path of death (by way of voting for maniacs) and stagnation by way of socially and culturally.
Whenever I here the word democracy, I know a violent catastrophe is right around the corner.
>anti democracy
>anti education
Are you my nemesis?
read book eight of plato's republic. the greeks debunked you thousands of years ago.
