I've thought about this. I think they are but not on purpose, only in a roundabout way. Through overcoming what is essentially the abortion of human consciousness in its fetal stage, we would blast into a golden age, assuming no other subversion and society operates based on the soul, we would incrementally climb up the wheel until we all are "ascended"

There's an idea that ancient human civilizations existed (gobekli tepe, dryas impact, Egyptians before the Egyptians, Atlantis, etc, all connected)
I realize I sound like a complete schizo poster but I'm just trying to get as much info in as little text as possible.
These ancient civs would complete tasks with stone work/agriculture thought completely impossible without modern tech. Perhaps they had an expanded consciousness and with that come what we'd consider "super natural" abilities.
