It gets better as you age. The more you work and make money the more you appreciate being alone and doing whatever the fuck you want. I am almost 30 and a nice walk (alone) is more enjoyable to me than any date, any fancy dinner, and even watching 75% of movies.

When you have a pile of cash, a 401k, a nice apartment, exercise, have productive/creative hobbies, etc., you really could give a shit about what any other person is doing. Unfortunately, it takes most of your 20s to get it through your head that "being alone" doesn't mean "loneliness."

In fact, it also takes most of your 20s to understand that most people are fucking BORING and that even if you did spend time with them, you'd regret it.
