I had a cat in the 80s as a kid. We didn’t have fucking pet insurance, it didn’t get a flea collar, didn’t cart it off to pseudo doctors. It’s a fucking cat. Thing would jump off the 3rd story balcony and be waiting at the door to get let back in daily. It got real sick was shitting water so I took it out back and put a bullet in its head, felt bad enough letting me instead of god be it’s decider but I sure as shit won’t pay some Jew $60 to be god for me.

Our family cat was like 12 years old when he was bit by a Husky and completely shattered his jaw. He was already old and the vet told us that surgery would cost like $2500. Me and my sister even put up like $400 between us because we grew up with that cat. He was a member of the family. He pulled thru and could only eat soft food afterwards but we got another 2-3 years with him. His name was Nick and he liked to eat olives and play with crumpled up strands of wire.
