Unfortunately, some white who grow up in homogeneous societies begin to romanticize minority groups, believing they can be integrated and treated like equals/humans. I would say that a certain amount of exposure to these minorities is good for white people (and not whatever token they've leashed and parade around for their friends) to remind them of the fundamental truths of the world.
I'd argue that media would be the best avenue for that exposure, but given the predilections and bias of the (((media))), some real life examples are crucial to combat these delusions early.
