>minimalist lifestyle I hope you don't mean to be some fucking hobo Eitherway you can't blame your parents since they want what they think it's best for you meaning getting higher education, a job and family. As the other user said, you can go into trade, move out, have a small house, a car so you can drive around and not care about anything else

What problem do your parents have? Do they disagree with where you want to live, or do they still think you are 10 years old and can't manage yourself?
Though I'd personally advise you to build your lie living with parent, with them paying the living cost and you using all money you earn to buy yoursel prospects for the future, and when they get old, you pay it back by either helping them or paying for good retirement home.
Though that are my values, idk your personal life if that is plausible, I learned the hard way not to shit on others what to do with their life.
Also, I think you need to have deep conversations with yourfriend, to force them to have a stance, from indifference into either support or disaproval, because as they say, friend in need is friend indeed.

As long as you’re still in school finding a job that can reach the rural side isn’t that hard depending on what state you’re in, and being in school at 21 while living with parents is noting to be ashamed of times are harder for everyone in the US than 20 years ago so don’t expect their standards of leaving the house to hold any weight when they wouldn’t have if the circumstances were the same. Find a modest job like teaching or food service management for example that can pay off an apartment close to the rural side only when you have enough money for said inquires, this is all just example recommendation because I can relate to how you’re feeling, and having a simple place to live in, a job, and people to relate to is all that it takes to make someone happy or at least if you feel that way.

Yes. Khalifa Omar and Ali told us not to damage trees. These kuffar Saudis have betrayed the Umma. Every murtad on the land must be dealt with. Jizya must also be levied. You're both right.

>and having a simple place to live in, a job, and people to relate to is all that it takes to make someone happy or at least if you feel that way. In a sad existentialist essense, this seems nothing more than opium of liberalism. I feel so sad for you Americans, for not having a chance to feel what it really means to be part of ethnicty, culture, tradition and identity, that makes your life more than materialist cookie clicker.

No. But I plan to live in a very modest wooden cabin without modern amenities.
Yeah, I think they just think I'm retarded. But I've thought about this stuff. I though of budgeting, shelter, food, water, sleeping arrangements, work, transport.
Logan Nelson
I graduated when I was 20 and then got some work as a cashier. But the schedule was unbearable. From the start of January to the end of June I worked every single Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But I scraped together the amount of money I figured I'd need as per my budget, and I quit.
Which is why I sometimes wonder when the term precision guided missile will be used instead? Surely it's meeting the tech standard
Ian Thompson
Are you a least bit charismatic? If so you might actually try to persuade your parent and constructivly give your reasonings. If you are autistic, than that might feed back into their "you are retarded" loop of being insecure about your choices.
Though I cannot tell you enough that you should also have serious talk with your friends, for previously mentioned reasons.
Either way, plan it out, but have contacency plans, because some serious shit might pop up and ruin your budget plans or something.

At this point I don't really like talking to them because no matter what I say it's just negativity, negativity, negativity. My parents are very career oriented. They're very white collar, 40 hour work week, normie kinda people. It probably weighs on me more than anything.
for them you seem to act like that guy from into the wild movie. I still think you are too young for such decision but this is only my opinion. Wait till 25 and see where life takes you. You still got all the time in the world to move to some cozy cabin in the woods. I Would enjoy that too but it requires sheckels to start with. Not talking about illegal moving in on other people's land or stuff.

At least give it a try, my expericance, start conversation not by listing things to do, but with list of end goal, you'd be suprised how many times people have same or almost the same end goals but never even get to mention them when arguing on what to do next. When you say your end goals (hopefully they are compatible) then list constructive view on how to reach them, you'd be suprised, sometimes it happened to me that other person gave me a better idea for this part or that part. You need to build a bride, you don't even know how much is in the talking, communicatin and understanding. Though this advice you will get rarely on Jow Forums.
Try talking, humble yourself, try building bridge with common goals and rational solutions to reach them, you might be suprised.
Same things with friends, I feel like big part of your problem is lack of communication.

>North Korea says no talks with South due to drills, Kim oversaw test of 'new weapon': KCNA
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected Saturday’s test of a new weapon, state media KCNA said on Sunday, as a senior diplomat dismissed the possibility of inter-Korean talks in protest against South Korea-U.S. military drills.
North Korea fired two short-range missiles on Saturday, its fifth within two weeks, in what South Korea called a show of force against joint new military drills with the United States.
The allies kicked off largely computer-simulated small-scale exercises on Saturday for a 10-day run, as an alternative to previous large-scale annual drills that were halted to expedite nuclear talks between Pyongyang and Washington.
North Korea calls such exercises a “rehearsal for war” and has countered them with its own military action.
The new “projectiles” were developed to suit the country’s terrain, and the latest test proved their “advantageous and powerful demand of the design was perfectly met,” KCNA said.
Missile experts at the James Martin Centre for Nonproliferation Studies in California said photos released by KCNA appear to show a new type of short-range ballistic missile, though detailed analysis is necessary.
In a separate statement carried by KCNA, a senior North Korean diplomat said there will not be inter-Korean talks unless the allies end their military exercises that still maintain “aggressive nature.”
>Yemen's pro-government coalition fractures as separatists grab control in Aden
Yemen’s southern separatists have taken effective control of Aden, seat of the internationally recognized government, fracturing the Saudi-led coalition which is trying to break the grip of the Iran-aligned Houthi movement on the country.
The coalition late on Saturday threatened military action to halt the fighting and ordered the separatists to withdraw from government military camps they seized in the southern port city. Riyadh called for an emergency summit to restore order.
The Saudi-backed government of Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi earlier called the move by the Southern Transitional Council (STC), which is backed by coalition member the United Arab Emirates, a coup.
Although the separatists have a rival agenda to Hadi’s government, they have been part of the Sunni Muslim coalition that intervened in Yemen in 2015 against the Houthis after they ousted Hadi from power in the capital Sanaa in late 2014.
“We call on all components and military formations of the Transitional (STC) ... to immediately return to their positions and withdraw from the positions that have been seized,” coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said in a statement.
The STC agreed to the ceasefire. “The spokesman of the Southern Transitional Council confirmed its adherence to the ceasefire called for by the leadership of the Saudi-led coalition,” the council said in a statement.
The coalition ordered an immediate ceasefire as of 1:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, he said, and would use military force against those who violate it.
>wants to live in cabin >parents are into wageslave
Honestly user, how much of this living in a cabin stuff is rebellion against your parents values? children from heavily religious families listen to metal or wear their clothing too tight, and the children of the wageslaves want to live in a cabin.
Think about it. If you can convince yourself that you are not just having a rebellious moment, then you might plan a bit further ( i assure you 6 months of part time cashier work is not nearly enough to cover living in a cabin - what about health care?)
i fear u might fuck up your future options because you have not recognised your rebellion for what it is. a phase.

>Car bomb explodes in Libya's Benghazi, killing three U.N. staff
A car bomb explosion in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi killed three U.N. staff members and two other mission members on Saturday, the United Nations said. The attack came as the United Nations was brokering a truce in the capital Tripoli, where the eastern-based Libyan National Army (LNA) force launched a surprise attack in April, part of the chaos in Libya since the toppling of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
The Southern Transitional Council, a separatist army that wants to resurrect South Yemen, took control of Aden from the Hadi government using the Security Belt Forces, a UAE trained army.
The southern armies outnumbered and seized control of all of Hadi government's military camps, interior ministry and the Presidential Palace. He has nothing in Aden now.

Basically this, on the other wand people undergoing this phase thing they are non chalant toward their parents, but fail to recognize that they are still heavilly influence by the affection spectrum on the antipathy side. They are not making decisions independend of parent, they are making them due to dislike of them, which is dependent on them.

I dunno. I have this sinking feeling of not getting any younger. Like I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and be 30.
Maybe I'm just not very good at communicating.
No. I value my parents greatly, and I think myself very fortunate to have them. But this lifestyle of 40 hour work weeks and rat races to pay for junk we don't need is hurtful to the soul. I don't think it's rebellion. Maybe I'm wrong. But it sure doesn't feel like rebellion.
Yeah, I just gotta chill the fuck out. It'll work out fine. I have enough money. I have a plan. I have a degree (most people don't). And worst case scenario I can join the Israeli Army. Though I've unironically considered doing the National Guard.

bro. u are 21. do u have skills? u need a trade or a skillset that can make you bucks. u don't have to buy the latest iphone or whatever. imagine how vulnerable you are making yourself. you are going into an environment people are trying to escape - where there is work it's going to kids who grew up fixing tractors or castrating bulls. winter will probably be effing cold. you need to be able to stock up on shit. and one day you will wake up and you will be 45. but it wont happen suddenly. altho it will feel that way. keep your dream. if it's real it will last till you are 25 or 45. if not it will fade away. i would concentrate on teaching my mind or my hands to do something while my mind can still learn fast. i would recommend programming or IT. but thats me. many people don't like that. can you into mechanic or something. you can always go hiking, climbing or kayaking or whatever. but you will need cash. hunting won'T cover your meat supply for long. and without a skill in the boondocks ... well, think about it this way, most people are trying to make it in a city, they leave rural areas. if u actually go to a rural area, without skills, without connections, what happens when the dream turns out to be not what you are looking for? will you crawl back to the city looking for work, without skills as a 30 year old? if u told me you are enrolling at an agricultural university and are planning to live in a cabin while you are there, then i would be comfortable with your dream. but the little i have heard of your plan does not convince me that you have thought this all out.
you need a skill. whether you want a new ipad or not. at the end you can chose not to buy the ipad, even if you have the skill. but if you have no skills you have no choice.
