numbers seem to check out. the only thing that's bugging me is that homicide rate for illegals, 3.7 per 100,000. There is no way it's that low. hispanics in general are at about 5.1... the Cato study is pulling some weird judaism there, and it isn't clear how they're arriving at that number. But I can't find a better "authoritative" estimate... and I have seen leftists citing that study everywhere for how "illegals commit less crime than natives [when you include blacks]", so they'd be less likely to dismiss it outright if they've been citing it constantly.
