Epstein's death is no big deal. Alive, Epstein could assert the fifth and avoid testifying completely. A case against Epstein needed to be made with direct and indirect evidence from other sources. The same is still true against the remaining conspirator defendants in the pending action. The upside is that Epstein can no longer challenge the admission of evidence as being unlawfully obtained. It actually opens up the prosecution's case against the remaining conspirators quite a bit.

The cameras are facing a common area and focused mostly on the officers so the lieutenants can check if officers are making their rounds or doing counts.
The problem with MCC is they treat prisoners too lightly. IMO they should be subject to strict discipline standards like the military and ALL officers should have batons instead of only lieutenants.
