And you're conflating that welfare. Makes no sense. Don't even have to get into issues like the companies they spend their money on (like Nike for example) use foreign labor overseas and stuff like that. Or the fact that you're comparing a very tightly controlled and easily analyzable 3.8 billion dollars a year (over 10 years equating to the 38 billion) to an enormous sum of funds that nobody could ever possibly track or control, that you're just stealing from one group of people and setting it out into the wind and blindly claiming "this is good for the economy!"
