Yes communism is a world wide movement, but if you knew anything about Trotsky and Stalin you'd know Stalin didn't agree with invading other countries. Although Stalin did want Hitler taken out, and why wouldn't he considering Hitler was calling slavs inferior and saying their land belongs to the German master race? If Macron was ranting about how English people are parasites and inferior and England belongs to the French master race I'd be getting pretty nervous to.

Gradually I realized that those who desire safety over freedom shall have neither.

I was never politically polarized though, until I started hearing left-wing extremists telling me that my people were the problem in our own lands, and realized that the government and media was on THEIR side.

I became right wing during college when I realized the Left, and especially the radical left were very anti science, which before that I had always ascribed to religious people on the right. Rather than reasonable debate, the left whines until they get their way. They prefer to waste endless amounts of resources on an entirely unproductive section of the population rather than put them to use for worthwhile things like getting into space properly. They promote instant gratification, degeneracy, and hedonism rather than long term stability and societal advancement. But the worst thing is that they believe that objective truth doesn’t matter and feelings should take prescedent over statistical data. They believe in punishing good people for the crimes of evil people while letting the latter off the hook. Their ideology is insane and self destructive on every level below its surface. Being nice and helping everyone sounds nice, but if that comes at the expense of bogging down people who can really make a difference, I would rather throw those who can’t take care of themselves to the wolves.
