In Brazil, the white Portugese male population mixed with black slave women, then the mulattoes and Indians, then the mulattoes mixed with each other who would also eventually mix with the lighter mulattoes and remaining whites. The average Brazillian has European admixture through their paternal side and African/Indian through their maternal side. This situation occurred due to lack of available white European women.Due to slavery, the blacks only spoke Portugese and adopted Portugese culture so mixing and interaction was easier.

In South Africa, Afrikaner and then Anglo settlers came with enough women to maintain their own seperate ethnic identity, with any mixing being pushed to the seperate Coloured group. The settled white land on the Cape and even up to Gauteng was mostly empty and blacks moved in later. The blacks have their own seperate language and ethnic identity and were at war with Europeans until they were subjugated, so interaction and mixing was therefore almost impossible. South Africa was part of the colonial British empire until 1961 and Apartheid was maintained until 1994 which enforced racial segregation, whereas Brazil gained independence in 1822 where mixing between white men/mulatto men and black/mulatto women was encouraged to maintain social cohesion.

Any racial mixing until the past couple of decades in both societies was due to the men fucking black women on the side, in Brazil's case sometimes resulting in marriage, with the resulting mixed race offspring adopting European culture (Portguese/Afrikaans).

In the US, most white men mix with Asians and Hispanics and rarely with black women. White women mix with black men, but this situation is unprecedented in a European based society. The resulting mixed race offspring would adopt the identify of their paternal side, which would be African instead of European. This encourages segregation rather than reduces it, so America's future is therefore increased segregation of blacks and whites, and reduced segregation between Asians and to a lesser extent Hispanics with Whites.

Due to them relating to their paternal Portugese side, it makes revolutionary agitation unlikely, so Brazil will probably always exist as it is, no matter how shitty living circumstances or crime becomes, since they are used to living on a subsistence standard anyway.

South Africa on the other hand is an economic product of the British empire to extract gold and minerals, with Apartheid a requirement of ensuring this economic and social system stays in place due to its importance to the global economy. This keeps the African majority, who already identify as seperate, even further segregated economically and socially, and increases the likelihood of social unrest. This means emigration of the white population is likely in the future as the whites can no longer outbreed or assimilate the blacks to make them identify as European as in Brazil. The black population as well as outside African immigrants have also migrated throughout the country to every white area and city due to the need for cheap labour, which increases the likelihood of unrest. However, fighting this social unrest can result in more original ways of maintaining order and stability, either by the whites or growing black middle class who benefit from the current situation, so the economic standards of South Africa may stay stable or even improve for the time being, though complete segregation from the African majority is almost guaranteed at some point in the future.

So how does the United States compare here? White Europeans will continue to exist as its the paternal line which determines this identity, and mulatto offspring will identify with the black minority, who will become increasingly segregated from the hispanic/asian/white European identifying majority. As this mixed hapa/hispanic European majority will identify as European to their paternal line and English language, the nationhood of the United States will continue to exist, though balkanization on small scales may result, with the blacks migrating to the Southeast from the post-industrial cities in the north and west with European hapa/mestizos with minor black admixture occupying the rest of the country.

The economic important of the US to the global economy will likely keep living standards stable or even improve slightly for the upper middle class, but social cohesion will become more stratified as in South Africa. It will be more subtle and may take longer, though many Americans will find their living circumstances will seem to get worse and social cohesion reduce in the meantime.

In conclusion, the US is essentially in between Brazil and South Africa, which is similar to the situations in Colombia and Mexico with their black minorities and majority identifying European mestizo population. You will keep English and the majority of the population will identify as European, but living circumstances will worsen in the long run (though not necessarily in the short term for everyone) and social cohesion will reduce as balkanization slowly begins to occur, though the collapse of the United States as a nation will probably not occur for another 100 years (50 for South Africa, and never for Brazil).
