Damascus for instance is thought to be around 10,000 years old and was an ancient city even when the Jews were enslaved by KAAANGZ. The fact that all these cities are still around and have their archeological sites and ruins in a decent shape is a testament that the people of the middle east will at least preserve what they inherit.
