I had a thought about how to solve the censorship problem.

You have a network of websites that all submit to the same board, but have independent moderation teams, allowing users to choose the board that best suits them (for example, one board could have a moderation team that automatically deletes and sexually suggestive imagery, but everything else other boards submit still shows up and everything those users submit still goes on the other boards (provided it doesn’t break their rules).

Mods could also outright ban full sub boards from cross-posting to their board if they produce generally low-quality content.

Another way to look at it is one giant board where you can select your moderation team from a group of teams, or start your own moderation team.

The main benefit is that you can’t take over the board by taking over moderation slots, as those older moderators can form a new team whenever they want while still retaining the full user base of the website as audience and contributors.

I actually do shill bootcamps. They are expensive but I've seen them crank out 90IQ people who are good at doing grunt level dev....it saves a lot of money to pay these people 50-60k/yr when they can do 90% of the easy work and just have 1 or two seniors/architects leading them
