also, is this the reason nuclear power isn't widespread yet?
Nothing, it's just a roof fire. Go back to sleep.
It was human error. Nuclear Power scares people, but it wasn't Chernobyl that scared Americans. It was 3 mile island. All of those meltdowns scare people and now public opinion swayed.
If we went down the fallout timeline it would probably be better.
Nothing, the reactor didn't explode so nothing bad happened.
Who wants to breed with me?
She needs all the sand and boron.
LIES... AND THE LIES INCUR A DEBT TO THE TRUTH THAT MUST BE PAID EVENTUALLY.
CCCP WAS EVIL REGIME AND KGB WAS DEMONIC AND GUESS WHERE PUTIN IS FROM
Yes. Chernobyl is synonymous with fear mongering over nuclear power when it was a human error. Modern nuclear power plants are more safe, especially in Canada because we don't get earthquakes, tsunamis, or violent tornadoes
Jews did Chernobyl
>slide thread
A
This man is delusional.
The thing exploded.
>human error
Communists aren't human. They're subhumans. Color me surprised that a Communist regime is the sole reason for renewable energy being fucked.
Russians
Communism
Tell me how a nuclear reactor works or I'll have one of these guards throw you out of the helicopter.
Subhumans got a hold of superior aryan technology and doomed themselves. Lol
Hot rocks boil water and make steam to run a turbine to make electricity
No daily dose of BBC.
Russians literally pioneered in these fields, what the fuck have you done billy other than sit on an image board and jerk off to hentai?
this
Two main things:
1. Some of the emergency fail-safes were turned off during a late-night overdue safety test check.
2. Turns out that the shutoff systems told to the unsuspecting workers were actually of less-quality than the official documented high-quality parts: the less-quality parts actually being used able to handle typical situations but weren't capable to handle certain rare situations (like what was a catalyst for the Chernobyl explosion). If they really had what they claimed (like the rest of the modern world dabbing in nuclear power did), than this explosion would have happen.
What exacerbated the situation was that almost everyone involved was sorta in a political Mexican stand-off. Where if you were objectively caught being wrong = harsh imprisonment comrade and catching someone else prevented that fate on yourself while improving your lot in life. Also the USSR was weak but needed to keep up the appearance of being strong, so they couldn't get proper needed foreign aid like with what happen with the German robot on the most dangerous roof.
>"A lie is a debt to the truth."
the fuck is with the unfunny forced reddit memes?
A lot of people died to stop the reactor collapsing through the concrete into water which would of created a huge plume of irradiated steam and debris which would of polluted a large area of europe to unthinkable levels.
nothing
reactor is fine
That wouldn't have been any more damaging than the initial explosion already was, and that aside not a lot of people died at the reactor, either
If that had happened Europe would of been covered in radioactive material and the the other reactors would of been affected to the point they also went into meltdown.
Basically they nearly wiped out the half the EU continent.
What the fuck is this idiocy?
Great, now I know how a nuclear reactor works.
but it was State Capitalism. not real communism!
The smoldering graphite, fuel and other material above, at more than 1,200 °C (2,190 °F),[79] started to burn through the reactor floor and mixed with molten concrete from the reactor lining, creating corium, a radioactive semi-liquid material comparable to lava.[78][80] If this mixture had melted through the floor into the pool of water, it was feared it could have created a serious steam explosion that would have ejected more radioactive material from the reactor. It became necessary to drain the pool.
Fucking leaf
You had to be here a few months back to get it.
Yes and?
You act like that somehow ruins the world and not the local area, IE the already well damaged power station
Or is it now that its deep inside of a containment dome suddenly it will get loose anyways?
There is literally a 5 hour miniseries, several documentaries, articles and books about what went wrong.
Slide thread.
Sage.
And also permanently prevent natural drinking water in Eastern Europe forever (by human life comparison).
more or less
This country has been subverted for a long time
>What went wrong?
You would know if you watched the series until the end faggot. Turns communism is a joke, who would have thought?
Just like capitalism
Hi Fukishima
More Slavs weren't melted.
>Am RN.
>My fucking face with this bitch during the hospital scenes.
I wanted to flip the coffee table when the nurse got yelled at by that female scientist that was an amalgamation of the other scientists during the events and not mentioned.
Did not feel any sadness when she had a stillbirth. That's what happens when you don't listen to the nurse.
I have a family member who was cleaning debris, still alive but his daughter has some syndrome where she doesnt grow. Like 30 years old but looks deformed and max 20
>Be Supreme Soviet
>Haven't been able to genocide all those pesky Baltic peoples
>41 years after WWII
>Big melty oops
>Comrade, we need bio-robots!
*lightbulb.jpg
>Comrade, send in the Baltic liquidators!
I'm sorry for what happened to your relative.
USSR economy went wrong, resulting in shortcuts and degradation of safety measures in all fields. Check out Ufa train disaster 1989, 780 dead because telemetry wasn't installed on gas pipe and leak caused explosion comparable to nuclear bomb.
Everyone in ussr were mobilized, there were trucks picking up people. The men didnt know what they were going to do they, they were just promised good pay
It got to hot, when they tried to slow down the reaction with control rods, it went POP!!
Based, people from occupied countries did it
Inside job to demonize nuclear energy and expand operations in Africa for resources needed to manufacture photovoltaics and keep the fossil hegemony for longer.
New Order? youtube.com
You guys are too reckless sometimes, your hearts are in the right place in innovation but you sometimes lack safety precautions. Even the recent nuclear propulsion engine explosion that killed 5 people indicate that this is still the case.
Rushed construction to meet unrealistic and unsafe deadlines for pay bonuses. The worst of Socialism meets the worst of Capitalism.
It's always about money. Then and now.
Like clock work
Literally happened because of a tsunami dumbass.
they hit the temperature of the sun in the bottom of the reactor when they pulled the control rods to quickly after testing a safety system in which they put the output of the reactor too low.
Communism is to blame, nothing else.
>When you want to make an impression but instead pull the bullshit out of your ass.
the japanese were caught lacking, numerous security errors and neglect that could have mitigated damage were found after the fact
>waah it doesn't count, the land was cheap
Tick tock, killed the pacific
Yep, proof capitalism doesn't work
Sergey Fukov was cold in his room, so he turned up the thermostat.
That's one hot reactor.
UFA rail disaster is fucking disturbing.
A nuclear reactor had a partial meltdown, 51 people died and a bunch of progressives had to evacuate their model dystopian little city
Um well it had one hell of a xenon burnout yeah? I'd say that was some seriously wrong shit that went.
