Apparently there's a real threat of drone swarm attacks using catch release mechanisms to carry out terror attacks.
How can the government protect critical infrastructure and as-of-yet unbombed intelligence agency headquarters that keep us safe from this looming menace?
Enjoy your ban, you are a crapposter and post nothing but crap.

Suicide drones are a serious threat if the bad actor has more than a few thousand to toss around. Imagine a public building being swarmed by 50 quad copters, each carrying the equivalent to a hand grenade. Also, their speed is 60-100 MPH (World record is somewhere around 160mph). Shit's fucked, yo. Seconded. This is literally fearmongering trash, on one hand. On the other, it's technically possible and pretty scary.
John Bell
There's nothing they can do. They're completely fucked.
You're right, I used the wrong words. I feel the video was made to be fearmongering and exaggerate. However, my feelings are irrelevant and most of what it shows is technically possible, it just hasn't happened yet.
Austin Bennett
fearmongering....it is to scare people. fear is evolutionarily vital when the circumstance is one of great danger. exaggerate, doubtful. too easy to deploy, our enemies probably have thousands, maybe millions waiting to attack. best bet is to get off the grid entirely, since that's probably how they'll be programmed to navigate
Hunter Davis
>costs millions of dollars for one attack. (swarm)
The average rapecel doesn't have the funds for this
>too easy to deploy, our enemies probably have thousands, maybe millions waiting to attack. That's spooky to think about. That many would introduce a lot of issues with communication, but again, technically possible. >costs millions of dollars for one attack Bullshit. Assuming the software side of things is done (Which would be "drones fly here as fast as possible and crash into target), I could pull such an attack off. The price isn't too steep, for one. I'm in my early 20s and my credit limit is over $20k. Explosives are simple enough to make. Those of you reading this that know a few things are aware of just how easy organic peroxides are to make. Unstable and unsafe, sure, but cheap to make in mass quantities and easy enough for a novice.
Bentley Cox
I've seen that video several times and I've never noticed this. I feel like I've failed.
Gavin King
It's only a few frames, almost subliminal. "NAZI's WILL KILL JEWS WITH THIS!"
Adrian Harris
Not a threat. Serious govt installations have air defense, and otheres have shotguns which do wonders against flimsy consumer/prosumer drones.
Not to mention radio jamming for drones already exists at many us military installations. Dont believe me? Try flying a drone over a navy base and watch it lose signal about 20 seconds in
William Torres
You don't need a radio signal, they can be pre-programmed using gyroscopes. They would need CHAMP EMPs not jammers.
Sebastian Adams
>Serious govt installations have air defense, and otheres have shotguns which do wonders against flimsy consumer/prosumer drones. How do you think they will do against 50 of these? 100? 1000? CIWS can't handle that many small targets. And jamming is irrelevant, depending on how much you can pre-program and the frequency of the controller.
Cameron Gomez
I work on the technology. Basically, as long as you're over 100 IQ and don't live next to a nigger, you don't have to be worried. It'll be over quick and you'll be fine.
Or a couple e0 with shotguns and an easy promotion. Even industrial drones are made from fucking cardboard and glass, a a couple pellets of bird shot literally send then spiralling
Jacob Hernandez
>Or a couple e0 with shotguns and an easy promotion. That assumes it's an extremely small number and they know the attack is coming and what time.
Noah Sullivan
Drones will never ever be cost effective.
Carson Powell
Is this Joe Biden's counter-drone defense program?
Dominic Cook
Guess we'll just have to ban plastic

A coordinated drone "attack" using 10,000 cheap drones on preprogrammed flight paths could blanket an entire city in firebombs in minutes. A semi truck could pull into a small town in the dead of night and open the back doors and after a strange banshee wail, wipe every building in a five mile radius off the map by the next morning. The survivors wouldn't have clue how it happened. The next town over would vanish the next time. It would be terrifying beyond comprehension. The drones can even be hand-made, 3d printed and basically untraceable. It's so cheap to pull off, and could worse than a nuke. This is a much bigger deal than anybody realizes. The only reason we don't fear is yet is lack of imagination. Eventually somebody will do it and the whole world will wake up to the fact we're selling cruise missiles in toy stores.
Matthew Morris
>Eventually somebody will do it and the whole world will wake up to the fact we're selling cruise missiles in toy stores. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED
Hudson Thompson
Absolutely true. It just hasn't happened yet. >The only reason we don't fear is yet is lack of imagination. That's really telling in a lot of ways. Our imagination is dying.

In the future there will be fences not only around your house but above to avoid the suicide drones.
