Have a bump.
>two weeks ago, my 86 y/o dad goes to BoA to deposit 800 bucks into the ATM
>machine takes all the money then shits itself
>dad goes to teller
>oh, sorry, you'll have to talk to the supervisor
>supervisor tells him the money will be counted that night and he'll receive a phone call the next day
>2 days later, no phone call
>go back to bank
>supervisor says she has to check with the ATM technician
>wait another 4 days, go back to bank
>we found your money! wait another two weeks to have it deposited into your account
>refuses to hand over 800 in cash, insists it has to go through the system
>still waiting
>bank has charged dad a bunch of late fees

Wat do? Cops told us to fuck off. Call the FTC? BBB?

Write on BBB, usually there is a team of people who watch the BBB for any complaints when it comes to big companies.

Every time I ever wrote to the BBB, someone from the company would always call me, and the person whom called me ends up treating me with massive respect and is willing to solve everything. It's quite nice.

I've done this about 3-4 times, and each time was a success in getting my situation solved within a day or two.

Your mileage may vary tho..

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is real, fren:
www.consumerfinance.gov
My employer isn't BOA, but we do take CFPB complaints seriously.

Good advice, thanks user. I'll write them sometime today, the closest office we have is in Dallas. I was hoping they'd have some sort of hotline, but it looks like everything has to be sent in on paper/email (for documentation, I assume).

Sup Brule

I'll give them a shot, too. Dad lives from check to check, so 800 bucks isn't exactly pocket change.

Contact the local news station. They'll make a stir if your story checks out.

That's would be an option if they weren't so busy reporting on frivolous shit taking place in Dallas.

>They sent fees after sending the money
Pull off the 800 and all other cash you have there, swap Banks and tell them youre not paying for their errors

Have this shit properly documented

I once deposited a paycheck in a Chase ATM right after they bought WaMu (my original bank). I didn't have a choice since I had like ten bills that were going to come out within a couple of days. The tellers had told me any ATM deposits would be processed first thing the following morning. Days passed, and there wasn't even a "pending" deposit.

Overdrew, late bills, I'm on the phone to CS screaming at them that I made the deposit. Went down to the fucking bank and showed them the deposit slip, explained that it was a damn payroll check FROM a Chase account. They say they take it seriously and apologize and explain that their retarded morning shift has apparently not processed any ATM deposits for days. "Well that's real professional. So you guys will reverse all of these overdraft fees, right?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, but those are valid charges. Your account was overdrawn."
"But it was overdrawn because of YOU. I have the deposit slip and you just explained that it was your fault it wasn't processed."
"I'm sorry sir, we can't reverse any overdraft fees blahblahblah."
I never paid them. In fact, I purposefully overdrew even further, paying all of my bills for the following two months. Then I cut up the card, opened up an account at a different bank under my girlfriend (now wife) with joint access, and switched all autopayments to that bank. Never had a problem with them. Fuck banks.

I also hate banks

Dad switched from Chase after they fucked him over for something, though I can't remember what. Switching from bank to bank is a bitch. Medicare, SS, and the VA has fucked him over pretty badly too, but that's to be expected.

There is literally no reason at all to bank with BoA.

Not this shit again. First, that'f a fuckin 1040, BofA doesn't file on that shit. Second, every one of these "exposés" compares GAAP net income to tax payments. There is a whole different system of calculating income for tax purposes than for calculating income for public reporting purposes. So a company can "lose" money for public reporting purposes, while "making" money for tax purposes, and vice versa. Another thing they like to do is ignore loss carryforward rules, where a loss in a prior year can offset income in a current year, also resulting in no taxes paid. I'm not defending the piece of shit corporations, but this is an argument from utter ignorance and it pisses me off.

It's the closest bank to his house, that's the only reason he stays with them. Whittier is the other option.

Bro this is frivolous shit they love, boomers getting ripped off is that boomers tune into. Only old people watch tv

Our local channel WFAA has wonderfully informational segments such as the "child of the week," along with other important news such as pet adoption centers and wine-tasting yoga studios.

>depositing cash into an ATM
your dad is a retard

>Letting more than an hour pass without them giving you a written statement with tracking numbers regarding your problem
You don't trust jews you retard, you get an immediate receipt.

Understand your enemy, and understand the weapons they use. Then use those same weapons against them. The money system is the head of the snake. Cut the head off the snake and the rest of it will whither and die. There need be No violence, no guns, no banners, no slogans, no group think, just a united act of global non compliance.

Remember that it is much easier to fight for principles than to live up to them and it takes a far braver man to stand up for what is right and spit in the face of authority than it does to blindly follow orders due to fear of the consequences. Understand that we are all one and the key to real change and unity in this world lies with love.

It is time for the people of the world to stop and realise that the divisions that supposedly exist amongst us are an illusion. There IS NO division and its time for everyone to understand the truth of this.

It is through the constantly promoted illusion of division that the system is able to function but in order for it to do so, it needs public compliance.

Stop complying with it and you will shut it down.

Its time for us all to collectively stand together and address the root cause of the problems.

Everyone.

max igan

It's filler. Give them something better you lazy fag, it's worth a shot, they'll probably get the fees revoked and the money back ASAP.

Chase hit me with an overdraft fee of $600 when I overdrafted $20
Haven't used a bank since

Wait you paid that shit?

Fuck no. I'm not that retarded

Ling Ling would be a Chinese name, mutt, kill yourself
