Over months groups have been disrupting the HK economy in various ways and fighting riot police and committing arson. The whole event has wiped some quarter from the HK stock market and possibly could knock off another quarter. CEO of HK Lam announced last week that there would be no further demands met after withdrawal of the extradition bill and that she would not step down. Beijing affirmed HK government and promised a response from themselves directly within 2 weeks of last week.
