I'm already in an rcia program and the closest roman Catholic church is an hour away, currently have 40 dollars I'm saving to buy a bible that is as close to the original versions of the new testament as I can get.

I try to keep God and Jesus in my present consciousness for as much of my day as I can. I struggle a lot. I still sin daily, knowingly.
I read either the Bible or texts about the Bible every day. I say the Jesus prayer anything from a few times to hundreds of times per day.

I spent most of my life searching for answers in philosophy, drugs, sex etc. It's interesting because even when I was in my early teens I had this respect for Christians. Even in the depth of my fedora tipping when I actively tried converting people away from God I knew I was wrong.

Sometimes I wonder what life would have been like if I had opened my heart to God before I was almost 30 years old. Oh well. I'm here now.
