It's possible to cross-reference captcha submissions with posts, therefore knowing which IP posted what.
It's possible to cross-reference IP and dates with the IP lease logs that the Internet providers store, so you know who posted what, and where he lives.
In this shithole both mainstream VPN and TOR are banned, but seeing how there's little to no moderation regarding low quality posts you couldn't say that's done to prevent shitposting or shilling. Also, for a moderately well funded shill organization, building a private residential VPN is trivial if you're not convinced.
Given that gook has been trying to monetize this site since he took ownership of it, he may as well be working hand in hand with the glowings for some pocket change in exchange.
